Peace o Pie

Headed over to Allston today to do some volunteer week for Cradles to Crayons (if you don’t know them, they’re a fantastic organization worth checking out) and I could not pass up the chance to check out Peace o Pie. Peace o Pie is typically known to have the best vegan pizza in the city, and after 40+ days of dairy free, it was quite a delight.

I went with the pesto, mozzarella, parmesan, broccoli, and artichoke heart. It was, fantastic. Te cheese was gooey, and vegetables were cooked quite well. My only complaint was the slice wasn’t heated as well as it could have been. The slices were of average proportions and I went with a side of ginger root beer. However, after my first few sips, I realized it was of the “diet” variety – which I loath. I downed the slice and then sprinted out the door to do some volunteer work.

Some comments on Peace o Pie: they are mostly a vegan pizza restaurant, however they make sandwhiches and calzones as well. I’m moving to that area soon and will definitely check out those options as well.

We:

In addition, Peace o’ Pie:

recycles
composts

uses CF bulbs wherever possible
